Once again an attack was made on the Wonder of the World and human heritage site, Machu Picchu. Unidentified subjects graffitied the walls of the Inca Trail. Two days ago, it was reported that the painting was carried out in the sanctuary in violation of is security.
The suspect is an adult man who was captured by camera. The painting was done early in the morning near Inti Punku, the principal entrance to Machu Picchu on the Inca Highway.
The act was reported by the police and the Public Ministry; they seek the guilty party in order to apply maximum sanctions.
Shortly afterward, technical specialists were able to clean the walls of paint.
The population demands the Ministry of Culture exercise more control through the park agents.
