A whole week of celebration in honor of St. Jerome is under way in the plaza of the district of the same name, San Jerónimo. It is a great celebration with 23 different dance troupes which give color and life to this traditional feast: capac collas, capac chunchus, contradanzas, sayas, tinkus and other dances. They bring joy to the feast in the company of the saint.
Everyone has lots of fun in this festivity during the parade that is carried out by the dancers and their troupes. All perform along the path of the saint and their show fun, jokes, acrobatics, and dexterity in their dance.
