The citadel of Machu Picchu has become one of the most visited places in the world thanks to its magnificent representation of what the Inca Empire was. Thanks to that, the Machu Picchu Brand project was launched a few years ago in order to further promote tourist offerings in Peru, especially in hotel and restaurant services.
Many of the different tourism companies in Peru have joined this project by improving their care and infrastructure services and by hiring better professionals duly selected under the quality standards.
This year, an important agreement was signed with the United States to make the Machu Picchu brand better known and thus help to raise awareness of the cultural and architectural attractions located throughout the Cusco region. This agreement was signed by the district municipality of the town of Machu Picchu and signed in Miami.
With this agreement both nations agree to foster cultural alliances and to enhance the vast cultural and intangible heritage of Peru in the world. This agreement will benefit many of the different hotel and restaurant chains.
This brand has been consolidated thanks to the support of many private companies that have done their part to improve the tourist services offered throughout the Cusco region and have helped Machu Picchu consolidate itself as the most visited destination in Latin America bringing with it much progress for the region.
