The New Macbook Pro with Touch Bar
One of the most anticipated events of the year in the technology sector is the “Apple Keynote”, The company famous for its bit apple logo and so much more is one of the few companies able to get millions of users to stick to their screens watching as they present their new products.
In this event last month, as usual, Apple introduced its new line of computers. So, in addition to presenting its new TV app, Apple introduced the new Macbook Pro 2016, which incorporates Touch Bar and Touch Id.
Do you remember the keys to raise and lower brightness, turn up and down the volume, the backlit keyboard, and more?
You can go forget about them. The new Touch Bar allows us to customize the function controls that we will see when we wish to have a better experience. This Touch Bar also includes the new fingerprint sensor (Touch Id) and is made of sapphire crystal.
Macbook Pro has reduced its dimensions. The 13-inch model has a thickness of 14.9 mm and weighs just 1,360 kg, which means that it is 17% thinner and with a volume 23% lighter than the previous model. The 15-inch model has a thickness of 15.5mm and a weight of 1,814 kg, that is 20% thinner and lighter. The touchpad is twice as big to offer more comfortable use. They have the same keyboard as the 12-inch Macbook but with second-generation and butterfly-shaped keys.
In the new 15-inch Macbook Pro, we find an Intel Core i7, a quad-core processor, and a 13-inch Intel Core i5 or i7 dual-core processor.
The Macbook Pro features a Radeon Pro 14 nm GPU with Polaris architecture, 4GB RAM. Apple boasts a superfast SSD, with 3.1 GB per second and up to 2 TB of capacity. In addition, these new machines have Advanced Thermal Architecture to guarantee their performance and a retina display with retro LED lighting and IPS Technology with resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 to 227 pixels per inch in the model of 13 and 2,880 x 1,800 to 220 pixels per Inch in the model of 15. This increases brightness by 67% and the contrast ratio by 67%, in addition to offering 25% more colors.
Despite all the criticisms that have been made about the MacBook pro 2016, since Apple chose to remove the traditional USB-A ports, also the MagSafe and SD slots, and replaced Thunderbolt ports 3 and the audio jack, the Thunderbolt 3, which shares the USB-C connector, has a great advantage of reaching very high transfer speeds. That is undeniable.
In conclusion will be very difficult to adapt to this new laptop, since many things have changed. That does not mean, however, that it is not a good computer. In my opinion it is a high-end computer and has much to give, although some people do not agree.
