Cusco: Night of Light and Sound

Today is an important day for the city of Cusco. On the eve of its glorious Jubilee Day the city is preparing for one of the most important shows known as “Night of Light and Sound”, a firework show followed by folk music. This show will feature four pyrotechnic launch areas (Cristo Blanco, San Cristobal, Pachacutec Monument, April 5), as well as the presentation of different musical groups.

According to the Municipal Festival of Cusco, this event will comply with all safety and quality standards comparable with international events. In addition, the fireworks show will have a sequence called piromusical that combines the pyrotechnic with Andean music and national and local artists, as well as the light and sound show. It is developed in strategic alliance with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism.

The show will begin in the afternoon after the meeting of Peru – Venezuela for the Copa America, and then continue with the presentation of different musical groups, among them we have Lucho Quequezana, the Mojarras, Motteros, Beto Mena, Sin Frontera, and Orq. Valentino.

The pyrotechnic show will start at a certain time of night where you can appreciate different forms, including an impressive waterfall. This is a family show that every year is improving in its presentations and this year will not be different.

We invite you from Cuzco Eats to be part of the parties of Cusco, you will not be sorry.
