Palomino Island, Callao, Lima (Walter Coraza Morveli)
If you wish for a unique experience, visit the Islands of Callao.
Just off the coast of the port city near Lima, the excursions to the islands take you to see San Lorenzo Island, Palomino, El Fronton, and Cabinza. You can appreciate fishermen at work, beautiful scenery, swimming with sea lions, and watching sea birds. It is an experience without equal.
The excursions take place every day from 10 am to 2 pm. For more information you can visit the Mar Adentro agency which has good servicee and security. The cost per passenger is 130/S. They take you to the islands on a modern and secure boat.
This nautical activity is perfect for passionate photographers because of the large numbers of sea birds and the ocean. There is nothing like a great experience.
You should take a good sun screen because the sun is very strong. You also should take a secure taxi to the port or take the agency’s van.
You go to the Muelle, the dock, on Callao’s Plaza Grau from which you can take the tour.
Whoever visits Lima should not miss this opportunity to feel the sea, to observe marine fauna so close. It is all simply marvelous.
