Total Art Festival on the Plaza de Armas (Main Square)

Today, the 26th of May, in the beautiful main square of Cuzco under full sunshine is being carried out the Total Art Festival.   Presented by the Municipality of Cuzco, the event presents a range of arts to the public.

The program for the day includes poetry, dance, musical group, as well as demonstration of floral arts, music, and expositions of sculpture in metal and wood.  There is also a small book show.

The show in the plaza is divided into four sections:  The street of sculptures, the street of photographs, the street of letters and images, and the street of Cuzco from mud.  Each is drawing and enchanting many spectators.

The program will continue until midnight.  Expectations are high.  Tonight, from seven pm, one of the great interpreters of Latin American music, William Luna, will get everyone dancing tonight.

Come down and join the fun on Cuzco’s Main Square, its Plaza de Armas.
