The Shoes Make You Tell the Truth

The truth lies within each person. Sometimes it comes to light causing much havoc in people for better or for worse. It is also said that children and drunkards always tell the truth.

In the Andes of Peru people have come to different conclusions of formulas to tell the truth. One of them stems from the shoes, sandals or any footwear that you usually wear. Whether you are male or female, it is said that these can make you speak even the most secret things that you hide.

It is said that when traveling to places like the Inca Trail, Salcantay, or any route of several days, the muleteers, cooks and other people who work for these routes know the truths of their friends and that they sleep in the same tents and share all their anecdotes.

They say that in times past, men committed many infidelities but women did not get to know even on the deathbed of their husbands, so they took advantage of the moments when they were drunk to ask many things and get rid of the lies.

Until once a woman’s husband fell asleep on his shoes because there was no pillow and began to talk in his sleep about many things of real life: his wife, his children, his friends and even his infidelities. The wife, a little dismayed, took the opportunity to ask him and he answered with a good voice to all the things his wife asked.

The next day his wife took everything that the man had said and he just had to accept and tell the truth; finally, the relationship ended.

It is also said that sleeping with shoes on your head can take you to places you would never have imagined before. It is said that in your dreams you start to walk and visit different territories that might exist in reality.

Now you know shoes can make you tell the whole truth if you put them on the headboard at the time of sleep.
