Everytime I think of Peru I imagine beautiful landscapes. I see people laughing heartily. This all takes me to Cusco where I see impressive, colorful birds flying in immense blue skies above our jungles. I smell the aroma of fertile earth. This reminds me of Machu Picchu. There is a brilliant light that caresses me while I feel water on my feet, and that takes me to the sea and a summer day.
Suddenly, to my mind comes a great variety of images of food, forming a collage of Peruvian plates. I especially see the moment when a waiter with a contagious smile brings a succulent ceviche well placed on the place. In my mouth I feel the soft texture of a piece of fish, marinated in the delicate juice of lime. That is my Peru.
