The Story of a Haunted Home for Children

Many years ago a home for special needs children was built. It had bedrooms, a kitchen, classrooms, and more. It was made from solid concrete. On the first floor you could find game rooms, classrooms, and an image of a virgin.

Children came to stay in the home on Mondays and their parents would come pick them up on Saturdays. In this way, the home functioned. However, Saturdays at midnight weird sounds began to be heard. They sounded like blows on the walls and dragging chains. The lights would suddenly turn on by themselves. Those in charge paid no attention. Of course, they did not live there.

One weeknight, when everyone was there, a child began to cry as if he was being struck. Then another one began. No one could see anything because it was dark. The children were panicked. They could not defend themselves because they were special needs children. Suddenly, the girl who was a bit older jumped up to turn on the lights and they realized it was the person in charge of taking care of the children. When the lights turned on the woman in charge was freed and with great sobs embraces all the children.

Because of this the children no longer spent nights in the home. Only the mother and her child stayed to prepare everything for the next day. One day the daughter climbed the stairs towards the second floor. When she got to the end an unbelievably strong force threw her down the stairs and she banged up her head and knees.

After a dew minutes she called for her mother to come help her and to tell her about what had happened. They called for a priest to bless the place and cleanse it so that such things would no longer happen.

The days became calm and nothing happened for a while. Then, one night, when the young woman was combing her hair in the mirror she saw a child. She thought it must be a child who had stayed even though her mother had given no permission. As a result she continues to comb her hair. When her mother arrived she told her and her mother said no child had stayed behind. A fright grew in the young woman, but she decided it must have just been her imagination.

Every day she began to see this child in the mirror. As a result she and her mother decided to take down all the mirrors in the house.

One night a group of youths came to a dance at the home and stayed in a room, because there were a lot of beds. Suddenly they heard “Every come eat now¨. Only a few were left. Then the light in the bathroom turned on. They thought maybe it was one of the kids and they cam up to try to scare him when the light suddenly turned off.

They all thought one of their friends must be playing a trick on them. No one was missing however. There was no one else there. That night things began to be thrown around. The lights turned on and off by themselves. It was confusing and very frightening for the youths, as if someone did not want them to be there.

The next day, the kids left and the home was empty. Every day the special needs children would appear and when night would fall their parents would come for them. Only a single family stayed: a father, mother, and daughter.
