Restrictions for New Years 2022

We are just a couple of days away to celebrate and celebrate the new year 2022 with new goals, purposes and dreams. Leaving aside the old year with bitter moments that the COVID 19 pandemic left us.

On the other hand, Peru remains on alert against covid19, since new cases of infections continue to increase, although a great campaign is being carried out to vaccinate the population with the doses against COVID, we must not lower our guard in these New Years holidays.

Unlike other years, the celebration for this year 2022 will no longer be the same, according to the new restrictions given by the government, the social gatherings that in past years were common to see will be limited. But we must not lose the traditions and knights to receive this new year.

Learn about the new restrictions that the Peruvian government established for this important date in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the national territory.

  • The curfew during the Christmas and New Year celebrations will be from 1:00 a.m. until 4:00.
  • All kinds of social gatherings and events, including those that take place in homes, meetings and family visits, are prohibited throughout the country during the New Year (December 31 and January 1).
