Finally, and after so many false starts, we have among us the most anticipated console of all time “The Play Station Pro” or “PS4 Pro” or as it is called within the company, “PS4 Neo”. In Sony’s event this last September 7th in New York City we witnessed the presentation of two new consoles: the “PS4 Pro” and the “PS4 Slim”.
Andrew House (Director of Sony), was in charge of presenting these wonderful consoles to the public and explaining in detail the main characteristics of each of them.
One of their main features is their capacity to support image HDR (High Dynamic Range), which is a high and dynamic range that can show us an image much more crisp and real. With improved contrast improved in all areas: the chromatic range of colors is extended obtaining an image that is much more realistic, alive, and vibrant. But we can only enjoy this technology if we have a TV that supports HDR10.
In Sony’s new console you can play videos in 4 k, but only by streaming because the console does not have an Ultra HD Blu-Ray reader. We can watch videos in 4 k and HDR through Netflix or Youtube. In addition Sony has given a list of games that we can play in 4 k and thus obtain more delicious experience when playing them, these games are: “17 FIFA, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, Call of Duty, Modern Warfare Remastered, Days Gone, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, 2 Dishonored, Farpoint (PSVR), Uncharted 4, Final Fantasy XV , Watchdogs 2, Tom Clancy´s Ghost, Recon Wildlands, Horizon Zero Dawn, Infamous First Light, For Honor, Mass Effect Andromeda, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadows of Mordor, Spider-Man, Steep and The Last of Us (remastered) ”
This new console features a new wireless controller DUALSHOCK 4 and a new look and design, including a more visible and colorful lighted Bar so we have even more of the game in our hands. It is the most ergonomic and intuitive command console that ever has been designed.
PS4 Pro features an AMD “Jaguar” processor with 8 cores and a 4.20 TFLORS GPU, accompanied by a Ram memory of 8 GB GDDR5 to 218 GB/s + 1 GB DDR3.
It also includes 1 TB of storage. PS4 Pro has a size of 295 x 55 x 327 mm and a weight of 3.3 kg, as well as an optical reader of DVD and BD

I will test the “PS4 Pro” and tell you my experience with this new console, to know whether to buy it or not. The game that I was able to test in this console was the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and the visual result was magnificent. The level of detail is to improved remarkably in comparison with the earlier version, the “PS4” standard. The characters’ movements are smoother and more pleasant. After several tests and playing for a while I’ve decided to give a chance to this great console and try it with other games in 4 k.
