Peru vs New Zealand: “A final to Go to the Russia 2018 World Cup”

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 9:15 in the evening, the second leg of the play-offs for the 2018 World Cup will be played in Peru’s National Stadium. After the 0-0 score of the first leg at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington, Peru has the goal of winning to qualify for the World Cup and to give great joy to more than 30 million Peruvians.

For many this is a premonitory signal, a sign of the universe that conspires in favor of Peru and that it shows us the path, after 35 years of difficulty, towards our fifth soccer world cup, Russia 2018.

The second leg will be a real final for the Peruvian team. Peru will receive New Zealand tomorrow night in a life-and-death match that we must win to be in the World Cup. However the Oceania team will qualify if it wins or ties because of total number of goals.

All of Peru awaits the classification of our selection for the world cup. The expectations of the Peruvians are high since we will play at home and the Peruvian team has the support of all its fans.

The game will be broadcast on an open signal by América Televisión and ATV, by cable signal by Movistar Deportes. Likewise, throughout Peru, giant screens will be placed in the different main squares of all our cities nationwide.
