Congratulations to all Peruvians. Their food is marvelous. For the fifth consecutive time, Peru has been named the Best Culinary Destination in South America.
The Ministry responsible for tourism, MINCETUR, announced that Peru was given this honor in the regional edition of the World Travel Awards 2016.
This recognition comes alongside the honor given to Restaurante Central and its chef Virgilio Martínez as the fourth on the list of the top fifty best restaurants in the world. Martínez brings much pride to his country and people.
