These beautiful masks are the artistic expression and cultural representation of the province of Paucartambo in one of the most amazing fiestas of our country, that of the Virgen del Carmen.

In the feast of the virgin there are around 19 dances, each one with enigmatic masks that represent the skill of the mask artist. This is expressed both in the technical domain of sculpture and painting as well as in the knowledge he has of the choreography and meaning of dance and music, of the hierarchy of the dancers.
