Peru Pavilion is chosen as the best of Expo Dubai 2020

Expo Dubai 2020 is a world exhibition organized in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. Known throughout the planet for various purposes that involves globally to enhance the process of global economic recovery. Expo 2020 Dubai promises to encourage visitors to preserve and protect our planet, explore new frontiers and strive to build a better future.

Originally scheduled for October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID 19 pandemic and kept its name “Expo Dubai 2020” from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

Delegations from 192 countries participate in the event, with the purpose of astonishing visitors, each of them dedicated to the best of their nation. The space in which it takes place, occupies an area of ​​4 square kilometers, also has around 200 gastronomic establishments, and a varied daily entertainment program.

Since its inauguration, Expo Dubai 2020 has been registering more than 1,400,000 visitors to the national pavilions of the participating countries. The Peruvian national pavilion could not be missing from this world exhibition. Our pavilion was presented with the “Timeless Peru” concept, offering a sensory experience and a synthesis of our historical, multicultural and mega-diverse legacy. A news that went around the world was: The Peruvian National Pavilion was chosen as the best, within the 192 countries present, by winning the World Expo Awards in the People’s Choice Awards category.

The specialized magazine Exhibitor, which awarded the prize to our country, held a virtual call for the public from around the world to vote for the best experience received by the visitor within a pavilion, which ended on March 15.

We feel proud and grateful to all the people who visited the national pavilion of Peru and got to know part of our culture, who at the same time cast their vote, thus allowing us to achieve this great recognition.
