Some say that the woman is the rib of Adam while others say she is the forbidden apple that must be eaten. Other people think of her as man’s companion. Some men who still carry machismo in their heart she is the keeper of the house.
Many men do not yet understand that the woman is the essence of love. She is as delicate as crystal and at the same time as strong as a rock. She is committed and fights onward without pause.
In Peru, woman face a very difficult situation with high rates of violence and abuse, which many refuse to recognize as something important. As a result on this International Day of Women, it is important to recognize the value of women, as professionals and as companions.
If you are lucky enough to have a woman by your side, whether she is your grandmother, your mother, your sister, your wife, your girl friend, your companion, etc., take good care of her as you would someone of great value. She is the greatest treasure and is of great worth.
Women should not only be remembered this March 8th but every day of their and our lives. We should give them the value that they really deserve. We all deserve to live with respect and have a life free from violence.
