These are our favorite sweets of Holy Week in Cusco

Undoubtedly Easter is when we enjoy the best traditional sweets. These desserts make week sweet, delightful, and pleasant.

In Cusco during Holy Week, there are fairs where these traditional sweets are sold throughout the city.

The empanadas, the condesas, sighs, meringues, maicillos and rolls are the most loved sweets and are among the favorites of Cusqueños,

On the other hand, the rice pudding, stewed peaches, mazamorra pudding, and rice sambito are the desserts that will never be missing on family tables

All of these are enjoyed on our streets and at fairs as well as in families during the celebration of the 12 dishes.
