Many have hated them, but we have never completely taken to them since many believe they are only imaginary beings or that we can only see them in fantasy and magic films; they are beings both kind or sinister. They have the characteristic of being the size of a small child with ears in the form of a tree leaf.
The elves are quiet and fast creatures, guardians of the woods and also possessors of magic. In addition, some of them coexist among us. There are things that we do not take as important. For example, when we leave an object in one place and it then appears in another, we think that we forgot where we actually put it.
According to the stories people have told me about elves, the best known are the domestic elves who live with us in our homes. They like to do all sorts of pranks like hiding things and making strange noises.
The other day while walking down the street I met a person who told me about the strange things that happened in his house. He told me that at night he could hear two children playing marbles in the living room and one day he went out to see what was going on, but there was nobody. Besides, what surprised him most was that one day he and his wife had washed their clothes and since they were tired had not folded them. The next day the clothes appeared completely folded. It was a surprise to both of them, and they wondered whether the two had folded them, but neither had.
He said that what scared him the most was that one day he was sitting on his piece of furniture and a cup of water was thrown on his face. It caused him much fright. So he decided to move to a new house in which today they live in the hope that those strange things will no longer happen but, as he told me, things keep happening.
After hearing his story, I started to think and ask people about what happened. Some of them took it as a joke, but there was a person who told me that these goblins acted in conjunction with these people since their presence is pleasant for them . He also told me that these creatures are known as family guardians and that they prevent evil spirits from entering the house.
I came to the conclusion that there are many things that we do not understand about our world and that for everything we understand, there are 10 that we do not understand or lack the knowledge to decipher what it is or what it isn’t. Things that told me may be superstitions or they may really happen. What I do know is that this world is a world of mysteries and there are many things to discover.
