Controversy Over the Law That Will Allow Peruvians to Enter Museums and Archeological Centers Free of Charge

A great controversy arises about the approval of law No. 29366, LAW THAT PROVIDES FREE ACCESS, EACH MONTH, OF ALL PERUVIAN CITIZENS TO HISTORICAL MONUMENTS, MUSEUMS AND HISTORICAL PLACES.

The news reached every corner of the country in this way, cheering a large number of Peruvians who can make their visits from July 1, 2017. But as a big question that everyone would like to know is that if the entrance to Machupicchu is also included in this law.

On 18 May, the International Museum Day was celebrated for which many media outlets published this notice clarifying the exception of the entrance to Machupicchu. Recently the page Cusco News public an image of the new law approved and that is not shown in the writing the exception of the entrance to Machu Picchu.

Now this generates a great controversy and confusion for all the settlers especially those of the city of Cusco, whose inhabitants to date come visiting Machupicchu and many other archaeological monuments that exist inside the city free every Sunday of each month, and ¿ That if on some Sunday outside the indicated, the Cusco would have to pay to be able to enter the citadel of Machupicchu and the other archaeological monuments?

On the other hand, if we analyze the situation well the first Sunday of each month will become chaos as a large number of Peruvian citizens who are not from the city of Cusco will plan their trips for every first Sunday of the following months and as there is only A certain amount of quotas this will be disputed together with the visiting brothers.

Hopefully this is not the case, this law must first be published in the newspaper El Peruano and also must be informed by the authorities of the city of Cusco to all citizens because otherwise people will be very annoyed and will protest If not of the convenience of the people.
