Recently, the digital platform TripAdvisor announced the Travelers Choice Awards 2022 where the city of Cusco is listed as one of the best destinations in the world to visit.
TripAdvisor is an online platform that collects millions of opinions about certain businesses in the tourism sector (hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cruise ships, etc.). In addition, users determine the best and worst services in the tourism sector, according to the experiences they have during their trips.
Over 12 months, the positive opinions of users about businesses in the tourism sector are evaluated and the choice is made where the best appear in the different categories of the Travelers Choice Awards organized by TripAdvisor.
The results were given and the beautiful city of Cusco was chosen in two categories, occupying the 20th position in “The most popular destinations in the world” and the 16th position in “The most popular destinations for city lovers: World“.

Although tourism has dropped considerably due to the COVID 19 pandemic, visitors do not change their minds to visit our city and with this news it is expected that tourism in the city will increase in the coming months.
