You can find in the city of Cusco many places where you can enjoy good food and drinks as well as pleasant spaces. These places offer a great variety of national and international dishes all these for your delight.
Not all restaurants in the city offer a buffet for lunch or dinner, however. A buffet offers you choices of a great variety of food and you can serve the size of portion you want.
If you are in the city of Cusco and want to try a lunch or dinner buffet a good choice is Don Antonio Restaurant located three blocks from the Plaza Mayor of Cusco.
Don Antonio is a well-known restaurant that is located on Calle Santa Teresa No. 356, to the side of SUNAT. Every day it attracts international, national and local diners. You will find there traditional Peruvian and Novo Andean food and enjoy a lunch or a dinner full of joy with good shows of traditional music and dance.
Don Antonio promises good attention, good lighting, a small stage where dances are performed, along with live music. Its decoration is generally of wood and Spanish accoutrements, such as armor made of iron.
The Buffet Dinner starts at 08:00 pm. When you enter the restaurant you are welcomed and shown to your table.
A person in charge explains in detail each one of the dishes that are placed to the buffet for the first course, main course, and desserts. Each day the offerings vary. The day I was there we we chose from: example we have:

The offerings vary according to the day and whether it is dinner or lunch times. Once in our seats, the music show began. The Ñut’turunas (small people) delighted us with musical themes from traditional instruments such as quena, bastos, zampoñas, caja, guitar and charango.
They alsorecognized all the groups that were there this day, i.e. England, the United States, France, Cusco, and Lima. Everyone applauded to see a variety of cultures enjoying food all in one place.
Suddenly a voice announced the first dance of the night, a festejo followed by Sajra, Marinera Norteña, Emilia Muchaway, Morenada, and to finish the Alcatraz. The time came to participate and the dancers chose different people from the audience to dance to the rhythm of huayno and zapateo.
It was great experience that garnered much applause. As we left, one of the staff made sure to say “good bye” to us and wish us well.
