Welcome to Cuzcoeats
Cuzco Eats provides informative articles and information about Cuzco’s as history, society, culture, and food. We occasionally include articles about other parts of Peru as well as other regions of the Andes that were once part of Tawantinsuyo, the Inca Empire. Our team includes people from various nationalities, especially young people from Cuzco, who share the passion for this great region and communicating it to others.

An anthropologist with decades of experiencing researching a variety of topics in the Andes, I fell in love with Cuzco in 1976 on a trip there from nearby Bolivia. My love has only grown in the years since then. Besides my work in the Andes, I am a foodie who appreciates local cuisines and the broad interaction between Iberian and indigenous cuisines in the Americas.
I am from Cuzco, Peru and live in the Urb. Ayuda Mútua. I am 19 years old. I love to play football (soccer) where I play forward, listen to music, and write articles.

Hi. I live in Cuzco and I am very proud of having been born in this ancient land. I feel part of all the culture of Cuzco and it makes me feel alive amongst our mountains. Above all, I love to immerse myself in our history and be able to write about our ways of life, as well as document them through photography.

Born in 1968 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gaby fell in love with Peru from her first visit. Now she divides her time between Argentina and Peru, trying to get to know each of the Andean country’s three geographical regions and its different cultures. She studied communication at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and practices photography as a hobby. She tries to reflect her love for Peru through a photographic record of all her trips.

I am completely Cusqueño and am 20 years old. By profession, I am a systems analyst. I like to listen to and play Andean music as well as do break dancing. I also love to share my experiences as someone from Cuzco with other people. One of my great goals is to get to know my culture more deeply and share it with others, both people of other generations and brothers and sisters from other parts of the world.
