Hiking is one of the best things you can do in Cuzco, especially at this time of the year. Nature holds before us it beauty and its enchantment.
A few days ago, my friends and I made a small trek to a lake called Lanlacocha. It took us about three hours of hiking to get there. We went slowly, taking pictures of everything that caught our attention and stopping frequently to rest and hydrate ourselves.
The sublime scenery became more and more enchanting. We passed among mountains and felt a playful breeze. Finally we arrive at our destination. An important lake opened before us. It was imposing.
We saw the animals of the area including birds we had almost never seenH before. They welcomed us to a rarely visited place. The beautiful Lanlacocha Lake trapped us in its wonders.
