This is the month of Cuzco. It is a month filled with intense joy and noise, party, and full fun. No one escapes. This festive rain falls on all.

During this month all of our institutions, organizations, dance troupes, and the whole public carry out an homage, a salute, to our state and city by presenting allegorical parades and intense activities in its honor. We live in a great city with a rich and living culture.

Every day in our main square, our Plaza de Armas, we live an intense fiesta. The streets fill with vivid colors and you hear the echo of party music running down our narrow streets. It attracts you like a magnet. The allegorical parades and traditional dances run around the plaza we call Haucaypata, the great main square. They excite the public who give in to the great presentation.
